An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale shook the town of Bhuj in the western Indian state of Gujarat early Saturday, a meteorological department official said.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The epicenter of the quake, which occurred at 8:13 am (0243 GMT), was near Bhuj, where an earthquake on January 26 killed an estimated 25,000 people and left more than a million homeless – New Delhi (AFP)
