Trend Micro will continue providing real-time antivirus scanning and cleaning protection to approximately 280-million active Windows Live Hotmail and MSN Hotmail email accounts.
Through the one-year agreement, Trend Micro provides users of Windows Live Hotmail with award-winning scanning and detection services that provide automatic protection every time email attachments are sent and received, helping to ensure a security-enhanced Internet experience. Antivirus technology and services from Trend Micro help protect email messages and attachments in Windows Live Hotmail by scanning in real-time for viruses, Trojans, worms, and other malicious threats.
