ALBAWABA - U.S. President Donald Trump has arrived in Beijing, China, for a scheduled meeting with his counterpart.
During his two-day visit, Trump, accompanied by top US officials and business leaders, will be holding talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
This visit will focus on trade, technology, and Taiwan, in addition to the tensions in the Middle East and the war with Iran.
China's Vice-President Han Zheng was at the tarmac to receive Trump as he walked down the steps from Air Force One. Han was among other Chinese top leaders who were waiting for the American delegation.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk and the President's son Eric also accompanied Trump to China.
This marks Trump's first trip to China since November 2017.
The U.S. president's visit was originally scheduled for March but was delayed because of the Iran war, which started on Feb. 28 and lasted for 40 days before Washington announced a two-week ceasefire with Tehran and then extended it for an undated period.
