The Kuwaiti office of information in Tunis has recently organized a conference on the topic of “Arab culture and its current challenges". The conference hosted five key figures from the world of academia, including the Tunisians Khelifa Chater, Habib Janhani and Mabrouk El Manai, the Kuwaiti Souleymen Askari and the Syrian Abdallah Toukmani, who tried to discuss the future possibilities of Arab culture to bloom in the face of the world dominating globalization.
<i>La Presse</i> reports that the speakers emphasized the need to understand globalization in order to better face it and safeguard Arab cultural heritage.
