Tunisian president Moncef Marzouki announced Thursday that he has repealed the state of emergency that was declared three years ago during the revolution, Reuters reports.

The decision was made official with a presidential decree.

During the 2011 uprising, Tunisians ousted President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
