Turkey’s Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit is set to leave hospital on Monday after suffering from a cracked rib and a vascular condition in a leg, his spokesman said Sunday, quoted by Anatolia news agency.
Ecevit, who will be 77 on Tuesday, has been in hospital since May 16 after undergoing treatment for an intestinal infection 12 days earlier, AFP said.
He was told he could leave Ankara's Baskent hospital on Monday afternoon after the latest of his daily tests carried out on Sunday morning, his spokesman Cem Avci said. (Albawaba.com)
