Turkish police detained 13 suspects, including three foreign nationals, on Thursday over Tuesday’s deadly attack at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, which killed 42 people and injured more than 200 others.
Turkish police department’s anti-terror branch conducted simultaneous raids in 16 addresses in Istanbul.
The suspects were sent to Istanbul police headquarters after health checks. Police are currently searching for a further three suspects.
Three suicide bombers fired indiscriminately before blowing themselves up at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport on Tuesday night.
Turkey's Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said initial indications suggested Daesh was responsible for the attack.
Airport operations resumed Wednesday morning.
