ALBAWABA- Turkish media reported today that Ankara has ceased all exports and imports to and from Israel. In response, the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that immediate action is being taken to find alternative trade options.

On April 9, Ankara's trade ministry listed 54 items that will no longer be exported to Israel. In retaliation, Israel announced plans to compile its own list of Turkish products to ban.

This move by Turkey follows its decision to impose trade restrictions on Israel, including cement, steel, and iron construction materials. The decision was made in response to the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.

The deteriorating relationship between Israel and Turkey, exacerbated by Turkey's support for Palestinian resistance groups, has further fueled these trade tensions.
