Turkish war planes have conducted more airstrikes against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) overnight on Monday, hitting 17 Kurdish targets, AFP reported Tuesday.

The Turkish army's statement said the 17 targets in the Hakkari province, on the border of Iran and Iraq, were "hit with precision and neutralized."

The airstrikes follow another attack on Turkish security that killed six personnel.

Two weeks of air raids by the Turkish military have killed nearly 400 Kurdish fighters, a report earlier this month said.
