Turkish customs officers have intensified their control on trucks carrying Iranian goods into Turkey, reported Iran News Agency (IRNA), quoting head of the provincial commerce department, Sadeq Najafi, as saying.

Najafi said that the trucks carrying Iranian non-oil exports have to cross Turkey on their way to European states.

"Turkish customs officers and border guards create problems even to foreign trucks carrying Iranian goods," he said, adding, "If the issue is not solved, non-oil exports would face severe problems."

According to the agency, reliable sources said that currently over 800 trailers and trucks are waiting in long queues to receive permission to cross Turkey en route Europe - Albawaba.com
