Two United States Navy ships sailed on Sunday through the Suez Canal to the Red Sea, according to port sources in the city of Port Said.
The final destination of the destroyer USS Briscoe and the hydrographic survey ship USNS Henson was unknown, AFP said.
Port sources in Port Said reported the arrival of the Briscoe Thursday and said she was due to cross the canal on Friday. There was no explanation why the trip was eventually delayed. (Albawaba.com)
