Britain has carried out a drone strike in Syria which killed two British Islamic State fighters, the first time the UK has used such a strike in a country it is not at war with, David Cameron has told MPs.
Reyaad Khan was one of the two Britons killed in the strike last month. A third militant was also killed in the August 21 strike on a car in Raqqa in Syria, in what the Prime Minister described as an "act of self defence" against Khan, who was planning "specific and barbaric" terrorist attacks in his homeland.
ITV News understands one target was last month's VJ Day commemorations, which the Queen attended.
