ALBAWABA- Two car bombs detonated near the village of Al-Mukhram Al-Fawqani in the Homs countryside, marking the fourth explosion in January as violence escalates.
A source in Syria's Military Operations Department reported that two car bombs targeted a police station and a military checkpoint in the village of Al-Mukhram Al-Fawqani, located in the Homs countryside.
The explosions caused material damage, but no casualties were reported. This follows a car bomb blast last Friday in Minbij, eastern Aleppo countryside, which occurred without reported casualties.
According to local sources cited by the German Press Agency (DPA), "A car bomb exploded on Al-Rabita Street in central Minbij." Ambulances and public security forces rushed to the scene in response to the blast.
The explosion in Minbij is the third such attack since the Syrian National Army (SNA) took control of the city earlier this month following clashes with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), also known as Qasd.
