Two Palestinians died Thursday morning from injuries they suffered in clashes with the Israeli army, according to press reports.
Safwatt Qishta, 16, was hit by several bullets during clashes Wednesday with the army near the Rafah Yam settlement in the Gaza Strip and died early Thursday, an official at the Khan Yunis hospital was quoted by AFP as saying.
Also, a 22-year-old Palestinian man was shot dead early Thursday in an exchange of gunfire with Israeli soldiers near Rafah town at the southern end of the Gaza Strip, reported Kuwait's News Agency.
The man died after being hit with several bullets, an official at the Mohamed El Najar hospital said.
Earlier in the day, a Palestinian woman had died of a heart attack when the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip prevented an ambulance from taking her for treatment.
The ambulance, reported Al-Jazira satellite channel, was stopped for about 45 minutes.
The violence occurred as Israelis and Palestinians were to return to the negotiating table Thursday after Israel decided to resume talks in Egypt, a day after pulling out following the murder of two Israelis in the West Bank -- Albawaba.com
