In Algeria, six people were killed Saturday night by an armed group west of the capital Algiers, local residents said Sunday, according to AFP.
The killings took place in the town of Miliana, an estimated 220 kilometers west of Algiers. The victims included two women and four children from the same family who were reportedly shot by armed Islamist militants during a raid on their home shortly before midnight. (Albawaba.com)
