Two people were wounded as a gunman opened fire at random on worshippers outside the Yemeni capital's main mosque, police said Saturday.
The assailant, named Yahia al-Shami, a former foreign ministry employee in his 60s, was arrested after Friday's attack at the Great Mosque and was also found to be carrying a grenade.
Ministers and other senior officials were attending the prayers when the incident took place. Police are investigating the motives of the attacker – SANAA (AFP)
