A UAE Red Crescent Society (RCS) aid plane landed on Wednesday in Kabul, capital of war-stricken Afghanistan, as part of its air-bridge to help the Afghani people.
According to Emirates News Agency, the plane, the 19th of its kind, had on board tons of various food products and other essential relief items for the people of Afghanistan. Ever since the onset of the war in Afghanistan, the RCS has airlifted thousands of tons of relief items to refugee camps throughout Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran. (Albawaba.com)
