UAE authorities nabbed 147 illegal aliens of various nationalities in a 48-hour period this week, reported the official WAM news agency.
It said that those arrested where of various nationalities, and had been caught while trying to enter the country illegally.
They are detained pending trial, WAM said, adding that the move was part of a national campaign to put an end to the problem – Albawaba.com
