Frontier guards belonging to the UAE’s armed forces have arrested 30 illegal migrants of various nationalities over the last 24 hours, reported the official Emirati news agency (WAM) on Thursday.
The arrestees, who were arrested while they were trying to enter the country illegally, have been detained pending trial, it said.
The move is part of a national campaign to put an end to the phenomenon, the agency added – Albawaba.com
