UAE Foreign Minister Rashid Abdullah, received Monday at his Abu Dhabi office Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Atiyya, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) who is currently visiting the United Arab Emirates.
On his part, Abdullah wished the new GCC Secretary General success in discharging his duties.
In the course of their meeting, they discussed a number of matters of interest to the GCC member states.
Abdullah reviewed with his guest preparations being made for the GCC consultative summit, according to WAM.
Saif Saeed bin Sa'ed, Foreign Ministry Under Secretary and a number of senior officials from the foreign ministry also participated in the meeting. (Albawaba.com)
