The UAE has given the Palestine Liberation Organisation a town house on the prestigious Massachusetts Avenue to replace the offices the PLO lost last month, the PLO representative has said.
The PLO was evicted from its previous offices on the grounds that it was two months in arrears on rent. It said the motive was political but the owners denied it, Khaleej Times reported.
"It's a nice place. We are hoping that the Office of Foreign Missions at the State Department will expedite our request and we can move in," PLO representative Hassan Abdel Rahman said. (Albawaba.com)
