The United Arab Emirates (UAE) market remained quiet on Tuesday, while shares lost value both on the DFM and the OTC market, Khaleej Times reported Wednesday.
Emaar continued to be the focus at the DFM as the share declined 10 fils in 20 trades of 34,360 shares. The property company opened at Dh24, which was also the day's high, fell to a low of Dh23.75 before rising 10 fils to close at Dh23.85, the daily said. Emirates Bank International dropped 20 fils to Dh20.20 in three trades of 12,741 shares, while Union Properties also declined 20 fils to close at Dh18.30. There were two trades for the share of a total volume of 1,937 share.
According to the daily the DFM, which had no gainers yesterday, registered a total volume of 49,038 shares valued at a total of over Dh1.11 million – Albawaba.com
