The Xerox Global Services business is Document Management. Xerox knows more about document-intensive business processes than anyone does. They understand how information is created and shared. A recent IDC survey indicated that the current market for Xerox Global Services (XGS) in the UAE alone is $39Million, with a growth rate over the next four years of more than 20%.  The biggest area of growth being Imaging and Document Management.

For an enterprise to thrive, it has to optimize the use of all its resources, provide timely access to relevant information and knowledge, distribute it to the people who need it, re-use it whenever appropriate, realize opportunities and remove overheads.
Xerox increases the value of printed and published information by making it more timely and relevant, through the addition of high-quality, cost-effective color, print on demand, personalization and customization.

Xerox increases the organizational value of information work - accelerating time to market, and improving decision making and idea generation - by enabling better organization of, and access to, information, and providing tools for more effective collaboration and overall document management. No matter what size or what industry a customer is involved in, Xerox can help them reduce costs and grow their business through Smarter Document ManagementSM

“The nature of the local market means that companies are expanding fast, and many of their processes remain paper based and inefficient.  There is big potential for improvements to be made in many document related processes by digitizing documents early in the business process, reducing cycle time, improving the end customer experience and reducing costs,” said Ben Gale, General Manager Sales and Marketing, Xerox Middle East & Africa.  Our approach is based on the fact that you can’t have a viable business strategy - or a viable IT strategy - without an equally strong document strategy.”

Xerox Global Services have helped thousands of clients in different industries across the region. National Commercial Bank “NCB” is one such example whereby the bank has outsourced all their office document production capability at their head offices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Xerox, including the production of all their statements and credit card bills.

Another soon to be announced customer success is a major bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who has also outsourced the statement production to Xerox, the first full colour statements within the region produced at production type speeds; scheduled to go live within the next couple of months.  Full colour statements bring powerful new marketing capability to a bank, allowing for true one to one focused marketing/cross selling messages.  Part of the Xerox solution involves complex formatting software to take information from the banking and CRM systems to allow for the personalized messaging.

Xerox Global Services helps businesses cut the cost of document production, management and distribution by somewhere between 10% and 25%. The total could add up to millions of dollars -- it all depends on just how much the customer spends today and how much they can save tomorrow. The Xerox Global Services assessment and planning process is designed to establish base-lines and set real, measurable cost-cutting goals for a particular situation.

Xerox looks at the customer’s business processes from end-to-end, to analyze the way people and processes interact with technology using Xerox’s Lean Six Sigma Methodology. Once the challenges are understood, Xerox Global Services identify opportunities, and set tangible and measurable objectives for business results. Xerox Global Services are accountable for designing and implementing solutions to achieve those objectives.

More specifically, Xerox Global Services simplify and streamline document intensive business processes such as customer communications, billing, training, and record management.  The Global Services team has a range of skills: technical, systems integration, project management and business consulting.
