Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, received on Sunday Mohammed Abbu, the Algerian Culture and Communications Minister, and Lakhdar Ibrahimi, UN Secretary General's envoy for Afghanistan, and other delegations who took part in the opening of the 12th Book Fair which began in Abu Dhabi Sunday.
Sheikh Nahyan briefed the visiting delegations on the attention paid by UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to the advancement of the country's education and the establishment of higher institutions, according to Emirates News Agency. (Albawaba.com)
