Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat has thanked the UAE President, Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, for financing rebuilding the houses demolished by Israeli forces during their incursion into the Jenin refugee camp.
Arafat was talking to a delegation of the UAE Red Crescent Society (RCS) during a meeting at his compound in the West Bank city of Ramallah. The UAE delegation which arrived in Ramallah from Amman on Wednesday afternoon toured a number of medical facilities, including the Shaikh Zayed Hospital in Ramallah, WAM reported. (Albawaba.com)
