A UAE Red Crescent Society plane carrying aid supplies has landed at Kadogli airport, in the western part of Sudan in the framework of a ten aircraft-relief air-bridge.

The plane, carrying food and medical items and escorted by RCS’ Head of Relief Operations Mohammed Al Hamadi was greeted by the Kadogli Governor and RCS representatives there, according to WAM.

In the year 2000, the RCS sent nine such planes airlifting hundreds of tons of assistance and medical supplies to the local population in Sudan. (Albawaba.com)
