The UN Chief’s Personal Representative in South Lebanon Stefan De Mistura said Friday he hoped that there would be no more Israeli violations of the Lebanese sovereignty.
De Mistura, in a statement after a meeting in Beirut with the Lebanese Foreign Minister Jean Obeid, said he had called for the meeting with Obeid to brief him on the UN Project titled (Shouef-South) to develop the areas which were under Israeli occupation.
Lebanese sources said De Mistura-Obeid meeting centered on Israeli breaches of the Lebanese sovereignty as well as latest regional and international developments, SANA reported.
