A United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Development Official, Yuri Akheldiani, and an accompanying delegation wrapped up three days of talks with Syrian experts at the Ministry of Industry on evaluating the Syrian public sector food industry.
According to SANA news agency, both sides reviewed the strategies of industry development.
Syria and UNIDO agreed to begin the evaluation of the actual situation and function of the food industry, to be followed by the evaluation of the situation and function of the textile, leather, chemicals and engineering industries, so that the preliminary study would be ready in November and the final study at the end of the year, SANA added.
