Alvaro de Soto, United Nations Secretary General's special adviser on Cyprus, was to arrive in Nicosia Monday, according to Cyprus News Agency.
He was expected to give a press conference before embarking on a fresh round of negotiations with the Greek Cypriot and the Turkish Cypriot sides.
Before returning to the island, de Soto was in Ankara for talks with the Turkish government and on Sunday he met with Tayyip Erdogan, leader of the ruling Justice and Development party. (Albawaba.com)
