In a signing ceremony that took place today, at AUC’s premises, Union National Bank Egypt (UNB-E) announced its commitment to supporting Egyptian students’ access to the highest levels of education. The collaboration between the bank and the university will allow parents to access an educational financing program that covers the annual fees of their children’s tuition, along with any related fees including dormitory, bus and laptop costs, just to name a few.
UNB-E’s support comes at a crucial time when many Egyptians and expatriates are increasingly feeling the pressure of the economic crisis. The UNB-E financing program allows parents to ensure that their children continue to have access to education of the highest standards, without having to worry about the financial burden that comes with it. These burdens are further eased by the highly accommodating repayment options this scheme offers; giving parents the ability to manage their payments. Parents, who meet the minimal financial requirements, can apply for the program which supports students throughout their academic years.
Discussing their agreement with the American University in Cairo, UNB-E Managing Director - Mr. Ramadan Anwar said “Education is such an important factor in the successes our children are able to achieve. Egyptian youth are the future of Egypt and we at Union National Bank - Egypt feel honored to be able to help students in accessing opportunities that will allow them to contribute to the development of the country.”
The financing program which will be accessible to parents and guardians, starting from this semester will be available at all UNB-E branches. With competitive terms and conditions,  the program is designed to facilitate easy payments over 1 year financing duration, allowing UNB-E to  ensure that the program is a viable solution for all parents.
