Uruguay's Foreign Minister Didier Opertti arrived in Tehran on Sunday for discussions to upgrade economic relations between Montevideo and Tehran, according to IRNA.
Opertti, who heads an economic delegation, said upon his arrival at the Mehrabad Airport that the delegation would explore avenues to diversify mutual cooperation in such fields as the production of dairy, meat and other basic foodstuff.
In addition, he said that he would review with Iranian officials the purchase of oil and petrochemical products from the Islamic Republic. (Albawaba.com)
