The US Trade and Development Agency (TDA) will sign this week with Morocco a $ 600,000 grant, during a visit to Morocco by the American TDA director, Joseph Grandmaison, Morocco's official news agency (MAP) reported.
According to the agency, a sum of $350,000 grant will go to a technical assistance to Casablanca for execution of an international tender for the collection, transfer and treatment of solid waste.
Grandmaison will also sign a $250,000 grant with state-owned phosphates company (OCP) for a feasibility study at OCP's Jorf Lasfar site, MAP said, noting that the study will examine the possibility of developing a heat recovery system to harness cooling water to generate energy for a desalination unit -- Albawaba.com
