The US State Department has confirmed that two Americans were wounded in the Middle East over the weekend, but provided no details.
"There are two American citizens that have been wounded," said State Department spokesman Philip Reeker during a press briefing on Monday, quoted by the official Kuwaiti news agency, KUNA.
"They are both being treated. I understand that their injuries are not life-threatening," he added. "But at this point, I am not in a position to give any more details on those.” – Albawaba.com
