U.S. State Department Special Coordinator for Cyprus Thomas Weston is expected to arrive Wednesday in Nicosia to hold talks with Cyprus President Tassos Papadopoulos and Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash, CNA news agency reported.
Weston is flying to Cyprus from Athens where he met Tuesday night with Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou with whom he discussed the current situation in Cyprus after the so-called "elections" in the Tukish-occupied northern part of the island, the official news agency added. (Albawaba.com)
