The US State Department announced Sunday it will be evacuating all personnel from Yemen due to security threats, reports AFP.
"Due to the deteriorating security situation in Yemen, the US government has temporarily relocated its remaining personnel out of Yemen," State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke said in a statement.
A triple suicide bomb attack on a Shiite mosque in Sana'a killed 142 people and injured 351 others on Friday during the afternoon prayer. Although Daesh claimed the attack, no evidence has shown a direct link to the terrorist organization, according to the White House.
