ALBAWABA - On Tuesday, President Joe Biden reiterated the United States' support for Israel by saying that "you don’t have to be Jewish to be a Zionist." The declaration emphasizes Biden's steadfast support for Israel in the face of the ongoing hostilities in the Middle East.

During their meeting at the White House, Israeli President Isaac Herzog commended Biden for his unwavering support. Herzog subsequently described their conversation as fruitful. "You are truly a Zionist, and I appreciate your extraordinary friendship with Israel," Herzog told Biden. Herzog said, "There is commitment and great effort to move forward," and he expressed hope that concrete results may appear soon, perhaps in the days ahead.

This opinion is not the first time Biden has said it. He made a similar statement in July when he was attempting to win over Jewish voters in the United States before withdrawing from the presidential race and endorsing Kamala Harris.

Israel has had strong U.S. support throughout Biden's presidency, which ends in January, especially during the current operations in Gaza and the measures that followed that spread to Lebanon. The administration's commitment to regional stability and Israel's security is reflected in its continued position of full support.
