US: Madonna On Top

Mega-star Material Mom Madonna stormed back onto the scene this week, selling 419,601 copies of her latest single, Music, easily capturing the top spot on the charts, reported ABC online.  

Nelly’s Country Grammar, pushed down, a week ago, by LL Cool J, stayed still at No. 2, selling more than 182,000 copies, followed by Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP, which sold almost 131,000 at No. 3. 

Creed’s Human Clay sold 130,000 copies at No. 4, while last week’s No. 1, LL Cool J’s G.O.A.T., dropped to No. 5, with sales of 126,000. The second album from Britney Spears, Oops! … I Did It Again, moved up a notch to No. 6, selling 108,000 copies, while George Strait’s new self-titled album bows at No. 7, selling almost 107,000.  

’N Sync’s No Strings Attached remains at No. 8, selling another 99,000, while the Baha Men’s Who Let the Dogs Out finally cracked the Top 10 in its seventh week on the charts, selling almost 84,000 copies – Albawaba.com.
