ALBAWABA - An American MQ-9 drone was destroyed by Houthi forces above Sa'dah city on Sunday.

Sources told Reuters that Houthis have targeted another drone.

Furthermore, Al-Mayadeen reported that the drone was intercepted over the Houthi-controlled Sa'dah Governate in northern Yemen.

Nonetheless, earlier Sunday reports revealed citing security officials that a suspected missile attack by Yemeni rebels hit a container ship traveling through the Gulf of Aden.

Since the October 7 war, Houthis announced assisting the Palestinian resistance group and declared a war on Israel announcing that they would target any ship that is linked to Israel or heading to its shores.

The US and its allies also announced targeting Houhti positions in Yemen in response to the attack the rebels are carrying out against ships that are linked to the Israeli government.
