ALBAWABA- In a breaking development, a US Navy warship has successfully intercepted multiple missiles near Yemen, according to CNN, citing US officials.

While the precise target of these missiles remains unclear, it is believed that they were aimed at the American destroyer USS Carney. 

The USS Carney recently transited the Suez Canal into the Red Sea, further intensifying the situation in the region.

 US officials suspect that the missiles were fired by Houthi rebels, but further investigations are ongoing to confirm their origin and intent.
