ALBAWABA - US President Donald Trump announced halting all military aid to Ukraine following the dispute with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House last Friday, Reuters reported citing a White House official.

"President Trump has been clear that he is focused on peace. We need our partners to be committed to that goal as well. We are pausing and reviewing our aid to ensure that it is contributing to a solution," the official said on Monday.

The US President also stressed that the Ukrainian president is not being thankful for the military aid the country has sent to Ukraine during the three years of war with Russia.

Trump added Zelensky must be more "appreciative of American support" while responding to an Associated Press report quoting Zelensky who said the end of the war is "very, very far away."

"This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy, and America will not put up with it for much longer!" Trump posted on Truth Social.
