Huge explosions shook Fallujah after dark Tuesday as new fighting erupted, and a US AC-130 gunship bombed targets in the city.

The AC-130 fired its heavy guns into the northern part of Fallujah, the area where a battle broke out the night before in the Jolan neighborhood. US officials said earlier this week that Iraqi fighters in the city have until Tuesday to disarm.
