United States President George W. Bush has sent greetings to Saudi King Fahd and Crown Prince Abdullah on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, according to the official Saudi Press Agency Wednesday.
In his messages, the US leader sent "best wishes to the Saudi people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr during which Muslims across the world including in the United States, engage in soul-searching and renew their faith."
In their replies to President Bush, the Saudi leaders highlighted "the solid longstanding friendship linking the two countries and peoples," the agency said. (Albawaba.com)
