ALBAWABA - Following the failure of previous discussions, the United States is putting greater pressure on Iran in an effort to get Tehran to return to the table with what officials see as more feasible conditions, especially on the Strait of Hormuz and its nuclear program.

According to analysts, addressing disputes over uranium enrichment and guaranteeing free passage through the Strait of Hormuz continue to be the two primary problems at the heart of the conflict. Previous discussions have frequently stagnated due to these issues.

Leverage in Strategy

According to experts, U.S. actions, such as economic and maritime pressure, are intended to persuade Iran to adopt a more accommodating stance. Iran is still looking for further assurances, particularly with regard to its nuclear program and possible lifting of sanctions.

Complicated Nuclear Problem

One of the most difficult parts of the discussions is still uranium enrichment. Although ideas like collaborative enrichment agreements have been considered, neither party has been able to come to a consensus on terms or oversight.

Prospects for Conversations

Although it seems unlikely to secure a full deal under the current circumstances, observers anticipate that talks may shortly resume. Iran is probably going to stick to its position over the nuclear program and its authority over important sea lanes.

Wider Consequences

As tensions between the US and China impact regional dynamics, especially with regard to energy routes and access to oil supplies, the situation is developing within a broader geopolitical framework.
