This week’s No.1 movie talks about a stressed-out, Xanax-popping FBI agent James Spader who flees LA to Chicago, to escape memories of a serial killer Keanu Reeves he couldn't catch, and of the girlfriend who died at the hands of that killer.
However, the killer, who has repressed homosexual feelings for his nemesis, follows him to Chi-town and starts killing local women, so the burnout cop must get back on the case.
This Drama is rated R for violence and language.
Aside from Reeves and Spader, the cast includes Marisa Tomei, Robert Cicchini and Chris Ellis.
The movie was directed by Joe Charbanic and produced by Christopher Eberts, Elliott Lewitt and Jeff Rice.
Joe Charbanic, Darcy Meyers, Clay Ayers and Dave Elliott wrote the script.
The film was released by Universal Pictures.
In its No. 1 debut, the movie has made $9,100,000.
