A model station to produce water for irrigation from waste-water was inaugurated at the Drarga rural community in the Agadir region, Maghrib News Agency (MAP) reported.
The $12 million worth project carried out with USAID is a part of a wider joint scheme meant to improve water management and conservation in the region using advanced pollution-reducing technology, MAP said.
According to the agency, the recycled water will be used to irrigate nearby fields of wheat, fodder and vegetables, and help farmers save on use of fertilizers -- Albawaba.com
