Vahid Associates bags Gold Midas at New York Festivals for BNH Annual Report 2008

New York, USA and Manama, Bahrain. Vahid Associates Brand Futurists has been announced the winner of the Midas Gold Award for its creative design and presentation of the Bahrain National Holding (BNH) Annual Report 2008 ‘Spreading Prosperity’ by the prestigious New York Festivals this year. Competing against agencies from 21 countries across the world, Vahid Associates is the only winner from the GCC region.

Founded in 2001, Midas Awards is the only international competition to recognize excellence in financial services communications, providing a worldview of advertising and corporate communications in the international financial community. The award’s panel of judges includes client and agency leaders from the creative and marketing disciplines from around the world, as well as internationally recognized experts in financial policy and communications.

A euphoric Gagan Deep Singh, Senior Creative Director at Vahid Associates Brand Futurists, the man behind the unique design concept, emphasized, “This award is the realization of a dream for the company and I, as there are not many regional creative strategic agencies who stand up to the highly competitive international design arena. This achievement is not an inspiration only for me, I am sure that my team and our organization as a whole now are encouraged to reach even higher goals on the international scene. The prize-winning annual report in its entirety was made out of recycled paper while most interestingly, the cover was printed on organic hand-made paper specially flown in from India, containing floral seeds capable of being germinated if planted. Carrying the conservation message, the report, adorned with perforated greeting cards, pocket calendars and bookmarks, was more than a corporate digest; it was another step taken to spread the message of goodwill towards Mother Earth.
