In a bid to entice UAE residents to spice up their summer, the Danat Resort Jebel Dhanna has launched a package of special rates valid from May 15 to September 30.
The 109-room hotel, located on the western coast of Abu Dhabi, offers a full range of recreation and sports facilities, and, according to general manager Manoj Kanwal, provides an ideal getaway from city life.
“We are a full-service resort with added extras such as access to the Sir Bani Yas island nature reserve as well as providing the perfect setting for a weekend of peace and quiet,” he said.
The “Summer Escapes” rates start at Dh479 net for one night (two adults and up to two children under 12 years per room). The summer package price is inclusive of buffet breakfast and a 50 per cent discount on food and beverage applies for children under 12 years. Guests receive two complimentary drink vouchers upon arrival, daily mineral water in the room and late check-out up to 1600 hours.
At the resort, guests have access to a private 800-metre sand beach as well as a par-36 nine-hole sand golf course, two floodlit tennis courts and two squash courts, the Body and Soul spa, a Kid’s Club plus watersports and beach activities and five restaurants and lounges.
“When the temperatures soar, the Danat Resort Jebel Dhanna is the perfect antidote to the pace of life in the city, whether for a short break, relaxing weekend or a longer holiday for the family,” said Kanwal. For UAE residents only, the “Summer Escapes” package is applicable to every day of the week.
Owned and operated by Danat Hotels & Resorts, a division of the National Corporation of Tourism & Hotels based in Abu Dhabi, it is the first five-star deluxe resort on the west coast of the UAE and the flagship for tourism development in that region.
