Vietnamese Premier Phan Van Khai said Saturday that his visit to Algeria shall provide an opportunity to "promote" and "revive" economic ties between the two countries, as well as "raise them to the level of the existing excellent political relations."
"My visit to Algeria will be an opportunity to discuss and find with Algerian leaders adequate measures and means to promote cooperation relations between the two countries so as these relations meet the already excellent political relations," Van Khai told reporters upon his arrival.
According to APS, the Vietnamese Prime Minister stressed that Vietnam considers Algeria a “brother, friend and faithful” country of the Vietnamese people, in spite, he said, of the geographical distance between the two countries. (Albawaba.com)
