After hosting a series of successful exhibitions last year, Vindemia art, antiques and collectibles gallery is once again proud to announce the exhibition of innovative artworks of the popular English artist, Lee Martin at Aspen Café in Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. The exhibition that will run from 3rd March- 2nd April, 2010 from 11.00 am- 9.00 pm

The exhibition will show the works of one of the most interesting and talented artistic personalities of England living in the UAE. The paintings of Lee Martin reveal a profound artistic sensitivity that springs from the soul to express itself in intensely vibrant colours, the assertive brushwork pregnant with artistic vitality, joy of living, praise of nature, spiritual richness and messages of hope.
The artist, Lee Martin Ixer was born in England and later migrated to Australia before he moved to UAE to reside in Ras Al Khaimah. His abstract artworks are displayed in several five star hotels, common areas and commercial properties throughout the Middle East. Ixer is very flexible in his artworks and can create different styles to compliment any creations.
The Lee Martin Ixer exhibition will be first among the series of exhibitions planned by Vindemia gallery this year in Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. The gallery plans to hold a series of exhibitions bringing some international artists in the limelight this year.
Annamaria Bersani, curator of the exhibition and Manager at Vindemia, thus summarizes the abstract path of the artist, “Lee Martin's works are really enjoyable and trigger the imagination. His works are always balanced and functional. The colours the artist uses in his paintings plays a fundamental role in each artistic production that are used to provoke but in a perfectly natural way”.
