Visa Electron Cardholder Wins Caribbean Cruise

Riad Sabbagh was named the lucky grand prize winner of Visa International's "All You Need" campaign, a national promotion held December 10th 2005 through January 10th 2006 that granted shoppers the opportunity to win fantastic prizes every time they used their Visa Electron card in select locations. Prizes included an adventurous cruise to the Caribbean Islands, a Nokia N70, a PlayStation Portable, an iPod Nano and lots more. Throughout the campaign, Visa Electron cardholders were automatically entered into a draw each time they used their card at Le Boulevard Mall, Metro Superstore, Dunes Center, City Mall, and other shopping outlets in the country.

There were a total of 19 winners presented with high tech and innovative gifts along with the Caribbean Cruise winner.  Four of the winners’ names were officially announced at a ceremony that took place at the Movenpick Hotel and Resort on January 16, 2006.

Mr. Said Shuqom, Visa International General Manager for the Levant stated, "The goal of this campaign was to demonstrate the advantages of using Visa Electron payment cards for everyday purchases.  Visa cardholders believe that Visa is a reliable method of payment to use for both daily expenditures and traveling as it is widely accepted around the world. When you go out to the shops you no longer need to check to see how much cash you have. Visa Electron is all you need.”

Mr. Said further stated, “Visa recognizes that every market is unique, therefore we are proactive in providing innovative services and campaigns that are tailored specifically for the Lebanese community.  I would like to thank all our member banks who have played a key role in providing exceptional services to our Visa Electron cardholders."
